The Story

While driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway right before dusk one day I drove by a lake with mountains peaking behind it. The sun was setting behind the mountains and a heavy fog was creeping up slowly over the lake. I quickly parked my car and ran down a path in the woods with my camera in hand to get a better view of the sunset. The blurred background in this picture is due to the fog which stayed around for awhile.
