The Story

It is the middle ground between light and shadow. This is the dimension of imagination. I saw some geese walking around on a beach of Lake Norman and decided to see if I could get a few interesting shots of them. I didn't, Instead, I walked around on a pier next to the beach and stumbled upon this railing which was already broken. I didn't notice the shadow until I looked through viewfinder and knew right away it would turn out to be a great shot.
